WHITE-WINGED SPARROW

Likely a baby "white winged" sparrow (and it's parents below).
Apparently somewhat rare but not unknown, it's called LEUCISM -- a condition in which
Unlike albinism, it is caused by a reduction in multiple types of pigment, not just melanin.
This sparrow should suffer no adverse effects other than being more easily spotted by predators.
A recent visitor to my birdland, but unlike anything I've seen before.
there is partial loss of pigmentation in an animal resulting in white, pale, or patchy coloration
of the skin, hair, feathers, scales or cuticle, but not the eyes.
